I was thrilled to be selected as a Young Scottish EDGE winner in round 10 of the biannual business competition. I was awarded £7,500 to help grow the business further in a competition that gave out 1.3 million pounds to innovative business around Scotland.  The competition was a a challenging but rewarding process where I had to pitch my business to a panel of experts (Dragons Den style!) in several stages, before the final results were announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday the 22nd of June.

The final and awards ceremony gave me the opportunity to hear about other business in Scotland that are creative and unique in their approach, as well as hearing from guest speakers that have built up inspirational companies and organisations.

Receiving the award is a wonderful encouragement, and as a young entrepreneur it is great to have my business recognised by experts in the industry.  The Judges commented on the uniqueness of my luxury products and the innovative way I have built up a company that holds onto the importance of quality,  provenance and the making process.
